Dear Guntersville City Schools Community:
As most of you are aware, we are in the process of designing a new high school for our school system. I believe this project is very much needed for our students as well as our community. The current Guntersville High space is inadequate and not appropriate for many instructional activities. Our students deserve a facility that enhances instruction and improves the daily functions and activities needed in the day to day operation of the school.

On April 9, Governor Kay Ivey’s order requiring a mask be worn in public places when within six feet of a person from another household will expire. She also stressed that wearing a mask is a common sense, best practice during the pandemic and that she will continue to wear hers when social distancing is not feasible.
