My name is James Tucker Davis, and I am the STEAM/Computer Science teacher at GMS. I graduated from Geraldine High School in 2011, and then graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2016 with a BSE with a focus in mathematics. I previously taught in the DeKalb County School System before starting my career here at GMS in 2020.
I am looking forward to each student in my class engaging in STEAM. The field of STEAM is a very intricate and unique field in that most careers either fall into the category of STEAM, or they have elements of STEAM that interact with them. I am happy to bring this knowledge and experience to Guntersville for our students to engage in.
I am also honored to be a sponsor of the GMS Junior Beta Club and of the GMS Technology Student Association. These student organizations allow for students to engage in many social activities such as completing service projects, boosting academic knowledge, and competing in various skill-based competitions.
Overall, I am excited and proud to be a member of the talented faculty here at Guntersville Middle School. Go Wildcats!
