Virtual Attendance

Our school system follows state guidelines to ensure that students are active participants in learning and that, even while learning at home, students show up for their lessons. Please read the GCBOE policy regarding virtual attendance:
"Guntersville City Virtual School Program students are required to abide by the Guntersville City attendance policy. Students fulfill attendance requirements by actively participating in the online course(s).
If students are not up to date with coursework within five academic days, they are required to attend the Pre-Early Warning Program. If a student does not stay up to date with coursework for an additional five academic days, he or she will be required to attend the Early Warning Program. The third occurence warrants referral to the Marshall County Probation Office. This may affect the student's graduation track."
